Our training mission
At F.I.V.E., we believe 5-MeO-DMT has the potential to change the world in a big way. In order for this to happen, proper education and awareness must be brought to the use of this powerful compound. By offering a full and complete facilitator training, we are making it our mission to make a difference in the quality of experience that participants receive.

The F.I.V.E. team’s focus in offering this training is to incorporate all of the most important facets that are a part of serving this powerful and sacred medicine. This training will cover everything from trauma, preparation, integration, serving skills, and more. We aim to prepare students to confidently serve this medicine with full integrity in countries where legal.
During the training students will have the rare opportunity to get in-person, hands-on experience in Mexico or Costa Rica at an operational 5-MeO-DMT retreat center where they can learn the necessary skills to serve this medicine, as well as apply them under the supervision of skilled practitioners.
F.I.V.E. has gathered wisdom from experts in the 5-MeO-DMT field and has put together a complete training program that offers students a comprehensive guide to safely and effectively serve this powerful compound. Included in this course will be both recorded video material and guest speakers, featuring many of the pioneers of 5-MeO-DMT as well as other relevant speakers in the space.

The Training
training structure
The F.I.V.E facilitator training will take course over a one-year period consisting of four quarters. The first three quarters will be done online, while the fourth quarter will be done both online and in-person in Mexico or Costa Rica. The online portion of the course will consist of weekly Zoom calls with teachers and other experts in the field, as well as videos, handouts, homework, and other resources and materials. The in-person portion of the course will take place at a Tandava Retreat Centre in Mexico or Costa Rica, allowing students to get real hands-on experience in the field.
The maximum number of students that will be accepted each year are 10 students. This allows for students to receive the highest level of education through focused and individualized attention from the teachers. Each student applying will first go through a thorough application process and those selected will participate in a video conference call with facilitators to explore if the student is a good fit for the course. Once completing the application process, the student will then receive everything needed to begin the journey of facilitation education with their peers.

hands-on training
F.I.V.E. has partnered with Tandava Retreats for the hands-on training portion of the training. Tandava is the world’s first 5-MeO-DMT retreat centre offering a balanced blend of science and spirituality. When it comes to the 5-MeO-DMT experience, Tandava is proud to have created a world-class reputation in the psychedelic space for safety, ethics, and long-lasting results among its participants.
During the last quarter of the training, students will spend 3 weeks in Mexico or Costa Rica exploring the depths of service, from shadowing experts in the field to holding ceremonies amongst their peers. At this time students will also have the rare opportunity to learn and share their newfound skills at an operational 5-MeO-DMT retreat centre. The in-person practicum will end with an examination by experienced facilitators and then end in a graduation ceremony.
Disclaimer: F.I.V.E. does not support or condone the use of 5-MeO-DMT in countries where not legal.
