Ethical consent starts with education.
- Low dose pens do not ensure a low dose experience. Mid to full doses have been achieved.
- Risk of astonishment. The infinite nature of 5-MeO may be more than anticipated.
- Risk of addiction. Like any substance used to self soothe or cope, addictive potential is present.
- Risk of inflated ego. Due to frequent use of 5-MeO-DMT in any dose without proper integration.
- Risk of spiritual bypass. Due to 5-MeO-DMT without mentorship, guidance or integration.
- Risk of potentiation. Amplified effects of substances, cannabis included may be overwhelming.
- Risk of destabilization. 5-MeO-DMT can bring up intense psychological and somatic content.
- Risk of seizures. Due to mixing 5-MeO-DMT with different medications or health conditions.
- Risk of psychosis. 5-MeO-DMT alongside specific psychological disorders is contraindicated.
- Risk of death. Asphyxiation (choking on vomit), heart attack, serotonin toxicity, suicide via instability.
- Risk of reactivations. Re-occurring 5-MeO experiences that may occur day or night for extended periods.
- Risks to health. Vape pen carrier oils (especially flavored) may result in long term health consequences.
- Risk to others. Keep pens out of reach from children and pets. Do not drive and use vape pen.
- Ethical consent. Do not share vape pens with anyone unaware of these potential risks.
- Integration. 5-MeO-DMT does not do the work for you or solve your problems. Integration is necessary.
